Outfit Details:
Staccato Aztec Cardigan in gray, similar in green, this reversible print, and this one is fab; Blue Hunter boots; Madewell denim; Old tank, similar here and here; Longchamp Crossbody discontinued, but I like this one and this one
Sunday was rainy, but surprisingly warm. After the bitter cold of last weekend, it was so nice to have some more bearable temps! We decided to hop on the DC bike share to grab some delicious dirty chai lattes and yummy biscuits at one of our favorite spots, A Baked Joint, in the Mount Vernon Triangle neighborhood.
A dirty chai, for those who do not know, is a chai latte with a shot of espresso, for an extra kick! Maybe I will feature the recipe on the blog someday. These lattes are SO GOOD and seriously as big as your face. I love enjoying a good weekend latte with my love.
As for the outfit, I got this Staccato aztec print cardigan last year. It has a bohemian vibe I always gravitate towards. And I always receive compliments when I wear it. It is one of those pieces that you can put on over anything and look put together. I like tops and cardigans with prints because they don’t need much embellishing.
The cardigan is by Staccato. There are some similar versions on Zulily.com, including a striped version and some solid colors. Since Zulily is one of those auction sites where the items go away quickly, I also linked some other cardigans I like below.
I wore my hunter boots to keep my feet dry. While it wasn’t actively raining when we went out, I didn’t want to risk getting my feet wet! And of course a casual outfit would not be complete without my Madewell denim (so flattering! I wore this pair last in this post.) They are really comfortable and fit like a glove.
In other exciting news – I’m co-hosting a link up with my blogger friend Nicole on Thursday! Be sure to head back on Thursday to check it out.
