Although mini skirts aren’t your typical winter staple, I found a way to wear them. But please don’t be like the crazies I saw at the airport yesterday who were wearing skirts in this 2 degree Chicago weather.

This outfit actually combines five of my favorite purchases from this past year. My gray otk boots, a pink safari skirt (I linked a really affordable one above), the softest Madewell sweater that I’ve been wearing nonstop, my pom beanie, and this fun studded and embroidered crossbody bag. I think the last time I wore this pom hat was in this post, which was such a hit!

Nurturing this blog for 2 years (my blogiversary was December 24th!) has been such a challenge, but so rewarding. My favorite part is the community and getting to inspire people and inform you with my photos and writing. Thank you for following along and supporting me! Looking back on 2017 and reflecting on all the things I have learned and changed, I am excited for what 2018 will bring! Love you guys.

    Your first outfit of 2017 was killer! I love very single piece. And I happen to love mini skirts in the Winter as long as you have the proper footwear and hosiery.
