Moody Floral Clothing
Florals are obviously “in” all year. But my favorite fall florals to wear are the “moody” ones. Any floral pattern that is darker and more dramatic is a moody floral.
I grabbed this black and white floral dress from Lulus right before our trip to Mackinac Island a couple of weeks ago (post about that is coming soon)! I just love the higher ruffle hem, the flutter sleeves, and the tiny peplum detail at the waistline. All three details combine to make the most flattering dress ever. I also brought this moody floral dress (a bit shorter than the first but never got a chance to wear it). I wore the long one on our first night at the hotel for a fancy anniversary dinner. Don’t worry, Sidney was there happy as a clam eating her buttered noodles!

It’s a gorgeous dress. Perfect for fall. I thought I recognized that property in the photos. I’ve never been to the island but I live in Wisconsin and have always wanted to go there. I’ve seen so many photos of that place.
