Sure, moms can wear literally whatever they want. But if you’re chasing around a toddler or jumping in and out of the pool constantly, you need something that is going to stay in place. When you have to supervise your kids, the last thing you want on your mind is having to adjust your swimsuit, or worse, the fear of your boobs falling out. Which is why today I’m share the best swimsuits for moms!
Best Swimsuits for Moms
So we bought a house with a pool. We will be opening it this summer, and I think it’ll be fun! So I started doing some research on practical swimwear, since I’ll probably be in the pool with Sidney all the time.
Bare Necessities to the rescue. These swimsuits have a built-in underwire. You actually shop by band and cup size so you know the top will fit perfectly! They specialize in hard-to-find sizes, with cup sizes from D-I. If you look through the photos you can see how the top clasps in the back like a bra.
The swimsuit I’m wearing is the Birdsong tankini in the shade Dori. The bottoms are mix and match, but I really like these ruched high rise bottoms. I also really like this wrap-style one-piece suit and this fun tropical print suit.
Are you gearing up for summer? It’s almost time!

Roxanne,
I find tankinis to be a better option than one-piece swimsuits for practical reasons as well as the possibilities for mix-n-match with other sets. This one you picked is really cute and you look fabulous.

What a great swimsuit, Roxanne! You look fabulous, my friend. And yes, the right mom swim suit is imperative to prevent any accidental flashing!

such a cute tankini! I’ve still been rocking my bikinis after babies but you make a good point – there have been some quick redirections for tiny grabby toddler hands when the kids were little and would pull on the string, haha! Something a little more sturdily put together might have been better when they were younger!
Thanks for the link up 🙂
Hope you had a great weekend! It was a busy one here! 🙂
