Mexico Babymoon Outfits
We took a quick baby moon to Mexico before this new variant started to get really bad. I’m so thankful for this time we got to get away and relax! It was our first time leaving Sidney for more than just an evening. It was hard to leave her, but she had such a good time with my parents that I don’t think she missed us at all.
We went to an all inclusive resort in Playa del Carmen called Paradisus. We lounged, ate, drank (virgin tropical drinks for me) and enjoyed some time as a couple. It was so beautiful! I definitely recommend the resort, as it was very clean and the mask protocols were very strict. It was also very easy to get reliably tested 24 hours before our departure.
I love picking outfits for vacation. It is rare that I get the opportunity to get dressed up these days, so I decided to pick out some fun dresses for our tropical dinners!

Maxico Babymoon Outfit Details
Swimwear can be tough to find and fit with a baby bump, but I had a few suits from when I was pregnant with Sidney that I kept and brought along! Remember this one from our Florida trip? It is only $13 and comes in a bunch fo colors. I also got a maternity swimsuit that’s really cute and comfy. I like to wear it when I take Sidney to swim lessons.
As far as dresses go, I prefer to shop for things that I can wear without a bump, too. I know I’ve said this before, but I like Pink Blush Boutique because that’s what they specialize in. Clothing that is bump and post-bump friendly. This blue textured dress is a stunner in person (the photo doesn’t do it justice) and I just love this green tiered dress so much. Even though Dan calls it my Christmas tree dress, ha.
I saw this last dress on a mannequin at Madewell and I had to make it work! I sized up from my usual and it fits so perfectly. The dress is actually more of a maroon color in person, and its on major sale right now.
I wore my Dior sandals for a lot of the trip, but I have to mention these cute jelly slides I picked up on Amazon. They’re perfect for the beach and pool! I recommend getting a half or full size up from your normal shoe size.

Roxanne, pregnancy looks good on you and your looks are fabulous. It sounds (and looks) like you had a wonderful time on your babymoon trip. Back in the dark ages when I was pregnant, I often shopped in the regular departments as well and found styles that worked well if I sized up. There’s a benefit to wearing “normal” clothing that accommodates rather than accentuates the bump.
