Appropriate Jumpsuits for Work
Sometimes it seems like all the jumpsuits that the ladies are flaunting are too revealing or too weekend-y for work. Most of us work in offices where we have to be somewhat conservative. I, for one, can’t go prancing around the water cooler in something that was likely meant to be festival attire.
Work-appropriate typically means something that makes you feel professional around your boss, clients, and coworkers. A garment that makes you feel powerful, but still feminine. So that typically means absolutely no cleavage, no low back, minimal to no cutouts, easy on the ruffles, and perhaps a sleeve option. As far as colors go, I gravitate towards darker solid colors and thicker fabrics for work.
I love wearing this green jumpsuit from Ann Taylor (I styled it in this post) for work for all those reasons. If you have a meeting and don’t want your shoulders revealed, you can a always throw a blazer over a sleeveless jumpsuit like mine (I love this one and this one right now). And if you feel like rocking a print, something like this moody floral jumpsuit or this simple striped one would be super cute!
And I’ll leave you with this: If you drink a lot of water at work and have to get up and pee every hour…that’s tough! I’m always chugging water so I have this dilemma a lot. My advice for that is to pick something that has elastic rather than lots of zippers or buttons, so that you can re-outfit yourself easily when nature calls.

These are all nice picks! I may be biased in saying that as I am obsessed with rompers and jumpsuits. I feel like I just can’t get enough of looking at them, buying them and just admiring them! Your green jumpsuit from AT is absolutely gorgeous and love the cut outs on the black one you also featured! I hope to scour some of these great deals and find one that works for me. I hope you are having a great weekend so far! Happy Sunday!

Great picks dear. Can’t go wrong with the classic polka dot print. Yours is really adorable too, such a chic color. Chic contrast with the bag.

Those are all really cute and work appropriate Jumpsuits. Good advice about the elastic for when nature calls, too!
