It’s October – and that means apple and pumpkin picking season! Yay!

I’m SO very sorry that I missed our link up yesterday. Of course I scheduled 5 posts while I was away, but completely forgot to schedule this one. When I got home from England last night I decided to take a quick nap – famous last words! I slept from 4pm to 6am and it was glorious. But I forgot to schedule this post. Darn.
We had perfect fall weather in England – light jackets, scarves, sweaters – and I’m so pleased to come home to more of the same. When Michelle and I decided to go apple picking in Indiana with our husbands, it was about 90 degrees out. Yuck! We shot these photos at an orchard in Indiana where Michelle lives called County Line.
We sipped on cider, analyzed all the pumpkins, hopped on a hay ride to the apple picking field, and continued on to the sunflower field. This early in the season we picked Gala and Honey Crisp applies – two of my favorites! We retired to the barn where we indulged in apple donut sundaes.
I always try to go apple picking in Indiana each fall. I would be incomplete without it!

Oh what fun photos, Roxanne! And sleeping from 4 pm until 6 am really does sound glorious! I need to do that one of these days…the sooner the better. I am tired! Anyway, I am loving your outfit and this post. We are going to a pumpkin patch on Monday and I am hoping to get a photo shoot in while there!
