The fourth of July (or any American patriotic holiday for that matter) always reminds me of my grandmother! She was always so patriotic and wore her flag pin on days like today! This week is the third anniversary of her passing. While I miss her, I know that a lot of my style choices and fashion inspiration can be traced back to her! And her love of a sale. So here are (in my humble opinion) the five BEST 4th of July sales going on today!
My July 4th Outfit
This set is just SO fun and cute! Not practical AT ALL, but it definitely gets me in the spirit! The high waisted, vertical striped-pants make me look WAY taller than I am. Well…that and Michelle’s amazing lens! I love that I can wear the top and bottom separately to create new outfits, too. For just $20 you can get the top AND the bottom. Not a bad deal, huh?
To go with my striped set, I added some fun patriotic items! Icing was kind enough to send me a few things, and I decided to just wear them all. My headband, sequined fanny pack, and earrings can all be found at the links above, but I also found some on Amazon for those of you that enjoy shopping via Amazon Prime.
The best 4th of July Sales
1.Macys. 20% off with code FOURTH. I always forget that Macy’s has some of my favorite brands like Free People, Nike, Sam Edelman, and Marc Fisher. I just bought this flamingo dress and am highly contemplating this duvet set!
2.JCrew Factory. Get 50% off everything! I’m eyeing this pom pom blazer and this gingham dress (although it looks like something I already have!)
3.Urban Outfitters. Take 30% off all sale items. I love Urban Outfitters for home decor, beauty, and casual dresses. I want a new faux cactus because I keep killing mine.
4.Nordstrom Rack. You can get up to 70% off designer sunglasses. If you have your eye on a pair, then this is the time to snag them! I love these and these by Quay for just $25, this fun Elizabeth and James pair, or this epic retro pair.
5.Boden. Boden has some really flattering and structured swimsuits on sale! I especially love this one and this one. They also carry some beautiful prints! Like HELLO to this dress.
BONUS
6.Madwell. Madewell can literally do any trend and I would wear it. They are offering 20% all their summer must-haves with code SPARKLER, and I MUST HAVE them all. My picks: these jeans, this retro little denim skirt, this versatile tank to wear all summer, and this easy tshirt dress.
