Hello and happy Monday! Summer Mondays aren’t so bad. I find myself complaining about Mondays all winter. But in the summer, I find myself enjoying every day a little bit more.

How To Make Monday’s Better
We pine for Friday like my cat Jake pines for treats in the morning. Desperate for it to come, then finding it goes by too quickly. Mondays don’t have to be so bad, though. Here are some things I’ve been trying to do to make Mondays more bearable.
1.Meal Prep. The week doesn’t look as scary when you know you have a lot of healthy food options ready to go for the week. I usually pick 2-3 proteins (chicken, turkey, fish, nitrate-free sausage…), 3-4 vegetables (spinach, zucchini, broccoli, cucumbers), and 1-2 carbohydrates (sweet potato, quinoa) and cook, chop, and assemble a few lunches and dinners on Sunday. It makes my life SO much easier! You can read more about my meal prepping process here.
2.Treat Yo Self. To a coffee, that is. Instead of getting your morning coffee every day (it drains your bank account, people) treat yourself to a coffee on Mondays. It always gives me something to look forward to. Here’s what I’ve been getting lately.
3.Wear A New Outfit. Maybe I’m the only one who saves their new outfits for Fridays, th weekend or some special day. I pulled out this fun tie-shoulder top from Target’s Who What Wear collection and my new bucket bag as a fun way to change up my normal workwear rotation. I also love my little orange sandals. They are old Jeffrey Campbell; I found them at TJMaxx last summer – what a deal! These and these are quite similar. They’re perfect for walking to work in the city, which for me is about a mile.
4.Schedule A Phone Call With A Loved One. I like catching up on Mondays. We talk about our weekends and what we have going on during the week. I like to talk on the phone on my way to and from work if I’m not walking with Dan.
I was trying to think of a fifth, but I honestly hit a creativity wall. One thing about Mondays that I truly love is hosting my Monday Link-Up because I get to be inspired by all of the blogger’s outfits and new creative posts! I can’t believe this is our 70th link up already!

These are a great way to make Monday manageable and exciting! I personally love Mondays as it is the most productive for me and like mornings, a feeling of a new day/slate. I love your mini bucket bag – can it get any cuter?! My love for mini bags run deep! I don’t know why because I used to love huge bags bigger than me! Lol ? It is nice to travel light, right? Smaller bags make me more mindful of what I’m carrying around with me.
