I know I already went on my cruise, but I thought I would share some of the things I packed. Because it’s always fun and helpful to see what people take on vacation.
Vacation packing is like a life-capsule. I get to take just my favorite seasonal pieces and maybe a few extra goodies.
HIGH WAISTED SWIM SUIT | HOURGLASS PALETTE | ROLLERBALL | FLORAL MAXI DRESS | BOOK | BRACELET | BIRKENSTOCK SANDALS | SUNSCREEN | LIGHT PINK DRESS | SUNNIES | LACE UP SANDALS | WATER BOTTLE | TASSEL EARRINGS | STRAW BAG | BELL SLEEVED SHIFT | PANAMA HAT | DENIM SHORTS
A lot of what I packed was centered around this hot pink bell-sleeved dress. I went to Anthropologie with my friend Dani and it was the only one left, on the sale rack, in my size (petite 0 which is kind of ridiculous, right?) Needless to say she convinced me to buy it! I wore it for one of our formal dinner nights.
Since I use a retinol cream every night, sunscreen and a hat are my friends in sunny climates. Image sunscreen is my favorite because it smells like lemon cake!
I made some friends on the boat when I wore this high waisted suit. I won’t get too into it, but a nice girl stopped to give me a compliment, and it turns out we knew each other from camp like 10 years ago! Small world, right?
This Hourglass ambient light palette is a beauty game changer. It makes your skin GLOW and includes the most gorgeous natural, looking bronzer and blush. I’m also in love with the highlight. There’s a little instruction card inside that tells you how to use all the colors.
Sarah lent me The Heart Goes Last to read, so I brought it with me. It was pretty dark and creepy but it sucked me in and I couldn’t stop reading. If you like weird books then check it out.
Finally, the motion sickness patch I used made me really thirsty (it was the Transderm patch). I was constantly filling my hydroflask with ice and water, and it kept me hydrated the whole trip. It’s kind of an expensive water bottle, but it keeps your beverages really cold or really hot. Kind of cool that it does both!
