What I Eat In A Day

For those of you that know me, you know I eat mostly Paleo. I basically try to eat grain-free, with the occasional rice or gluten-free item from time to time. Sometimes I eat dairy, but I try not to go nuts.

Seeing what other people eat in a day fascinates me. So here goes!

Whenever I see a fit person I always wonder what they eat. It’s the first thing that comes to my mind, over what they do to work out. I wouldn’t say that I’m super fit, but I love the way eliminating grains makes me feel and my body has changed drastically as a result (buh bye ridiculous bloating!).

Here’s an example of what I ate on a random Wednesday a couple weeks ago.

I had a gluten-free English muffin with almond butter and banana. Then coffee with french vanilla nutpods coffee creamer.  The English muffin wasn’t that good.

I had a protein shake after working out. I like to put water and ice in a mason jar and then the powder, close, and shake it up, so it doesn’t get all stuck! Strawberry this time!

For lunch, I made a wrap with scrambled eggs, kimchi, spinach, and avocado. I used a Siete wrap (my fave paleo wraps) and I put some Primal Kitchen chipotle mayo on there, too.

Dinner was one of those meal delivery boxes where they give you all the ingredients. I picked Sunbasket because they have a paleo option (the other boxes are too carby for me). The meal consisted of chicken thighs with an arugula and almond salad, sauteed olives and broccoli in balsamic vinegar, and squash!

I had a glass of wine because it was #winenotwednesday.

What Lifestyle Blogger Roxanne Birnbaum of Glass of Glam eats in a day.Dan surprised me with a gluten free cupcake from Georgetown Cupcake. So while I usually don’t eat desert…you caught me! This one was strawberry fudge!

I did a collage on my favorite paleo and grain-free foods if you’re interested in more Paleo knowledge. If you’re thinking of making the switch to gluten-free life, have no fear! It’s so easy and you will feel so amazing.

    The egg wrap looks so delicious! I love bananas on toast with peanut butter(my husband thinks its weird.)
