Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – Babies and Kids

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale gets a lot of hype in the blogger world. Every summer, Nordstrom puts their NEW fall items on sale for a couple of weeks. This year, the sale started on July 12 and continues to open to different tiered shoppers with a sale ending of August 9. The sale is currently open to Nordstrom cardholders, but opens to everyone on July 28! In past years I have shopped the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale for myself, but I’m not too excited about anything in the sale except for the bras and running shoes.

The baby and kid deals are a different story! I combed through and found so many great items on sale that I recommend snagging. Whether you have a baby, are expecting a baby, have a toddler, or need a gift for a child, these are the items to go for!

I know it’s tough to think about fall and winter, but the little ones are going to need good quality coats and boots. Sidney had a pair of Bogs last year that we loved (easy on and off and waterproof) and I plan to get her another on sale for this winter. I have friends who like to get their children Uggs in the sale every year, too. The coat and parka sale selection is pretty great, and the prices are amazing.

In terms of baby gear, I wish I had gotten the Stokke high chair because it grows with your child and slides right up to any table. It is $91 off the retail price! I started Sidney out on her eating journey with this Ezpz silicone plate and we really loved it. It’s designed to help the child grab the food from any angle, and it suctions to their tray. I also wish I had known about this portable bath tub when we went to St. Louis! I keep booking hotel rooms without bath tubs. I don’t know how I get myself into this predicament. But this fold-up tub gadget would have saved me from many obligatory baby showers!

Finally, any mom-to be certainly wants to find a good and reliable travel system! This Maxi Cosi set is the best deal I’ve seen, because it comes with a car seat, stroller, and stroller seat to grow into. After living in the city with a baby for almost 2 years, I understand how important a reliable and seamless travel system can be. They also have jogging stroller brands that never go on sale, if you’re planning on running with your babe!
