So everyone wants those kissable pillow lips, amirite? But lip fillers are SUPER expensive and the “Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge” is totally unsafe. I’m happy to report that there is another option out there called the PMD Kiss.
The PMD Kiss is a little device that creates small vacuum pulses on your lips to temporarily plump them up. I gave it a whirl and here are my thoughts!
The PMD Kiss comes with the device itself, a lip plumping serum, an extra rubber tip, and a charging cord (not pictured). As you can see, the oval-shaped rubber tip goes over a section of your lip at at time. There is even a nice little cover to keep the whole operation sanitary.
Here is a “before” photograph of my lips before I used the device. My bottom lip is already pretty full, but my top lip could sometimes use some oomph. I’m going to focus on both the top and bottom lips equally for this demo. I didn’t alter anything about the photo so you can see the true lip plumping effect! I also decided to show my entire face, rather than just my lips, so you can get a good sense of how my lips look proportionally to the rest of my features.
Step one: apply the lip plumping serum. It tingles a little bit, but mostly feels very smooth and buttery. (Hey PMD Kiss do you make lip products? Because I want to use this stuff every day.)
Step two: work in 6 sections on your lips – 3 on the top and 3 on the bottom. Press the PMD Kiss device firmly on each section so that the device can create a good vacuum seal while it suctions and pulses.
The device has two speeds, fast and slow. I used the slow speed because I wanted to get the most plumping effect possible. The instructions recommend 10-20 pulses per second (you can hear it buzzing) so I did 15 per section.
The suction is set at a very comfortable amount – it is nothing like the intense suction from your vacuum cleaner that snatches up cat toys right and left (just me? okay…). It is completely safe and non-invasive.
Above is my after photo. You can see I went a little over my top lip because I wanted to get plenty of suction and plumping action! And below is a side by side before and after comparison.
I can definitely see a difference in my before and after photos. My lips definitely felt plumper and I ran to my bedroom to put on some lip gloss so I could enjoy the full effect. Next time I will probably go for a bit longer on my top lip (maybe 20 plus pulses per section). That’s what I love about the system. You can customize it to how you feel that day with the different speeds and amount of pulses. In all I would recommend it.
Maybe your lips will need a little TLC in the fall, or perhaps you want to smooth out some lines so you can wear that sexy shade of lipstick on date night. I love my little device and I’m so happy I got to play with it!

Thank you PMD Kiss for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

Will this help reduce the lines on the top lip as well or just plump?

It will help temporarily! It is one of those treatments that you have to repeat to see results. Hope this helps!

I have the world’s smallest lips, so I wonder what kind of results I would get from this! I can definitely tell your top lip is fuller. Thank you for sharing this!

It’s fun to try! Add a little of that tingly lip gloss after and you’re golden!
