I stopped by CVS after work to pick up some all natural haircare products by ApotheCARE Essentials!
I’ve been really interested in natural products lately. There are a lot of natural skincare products out there, so I wanted to find a shampoo and conditioner that fit the bill. My hair is highlighted, fragile, and dry, and it could use a bit of volume at the roots. So I was happy to find ApotheCARE essentials that are made without sulfates, parabens, dyes, or silicones, but also work double-duty to meet my haircare needs.
Here are the ApotheCARE Essentials haircare products I picked up at CVS:
ApotheCARE Essentials Rosehip Shampoo. This shampoo is formulated specifically for fine and flat hair. It smells super floral, like geraniums and a bit woodsy. I love scents that aren’t too feminine, and the woodsy-ness really rounds it out. The shampoo’s cleansing formulation removes impurities while still retaining natural oils for healthy-looking hair. And I’m happy to report that it is volumizing! This shampoo builds weightless, thicker-looking volume and enhances my natural movement.
ApotheCARE Essentials Rosehip Conditioner. The conditioner smells just like the shampoo, but the volumizing technology is a bit different. The conditioning formulation wraps around every strand, caring for each hair fiber. Kind of like how you put a bit of oil on your spaghetti so it doesn’t stick together. But this wrapping technology is what builds the volume I need! As reported: no parabens. No
dyes. No silicones. Infused with cold-pressed rosehip oil, steam-distilled geranium and
concentrated aloe vera. Yum.
ApotheCARE Essentials Vanilla/Argan Oil Cleansing Conditioner. The argan oil conditioner is specifically for dry hair. That’s perfect for me, because my hair needs all the hydration it can get. This conditioner removes impurities while locking in moisture and smoothness. My hair tends to get frizzy, so I can imagine it would be wonderful for curly-haired girls. And it smells fancy and indulgent, like really good vanilla.
