My custom CEO skirt is finished! I mentioned a bit ago on Instagram that I ordered a custom power-woman skirt from Zophia Online. I tried on some samples, picked a fabric, and had a few fun fittings. Well here is the finished product!

My friend Betsy is the beauty and talent behind Zophia. She and her team design custom pencil skirts that are tailored to fit you perfectly. Working with Betsy is so inspiring; she truly bends over backwards for her clients. Zophia’s motto, which I love, is:

After a couple of fittings, I am so happy with the fabric I chose and the fit we achieved. I went with a faux leather because it is a little edgy, and goes with everything. The skirt hugs all my curves perfectly.
I decided to wear my skirt with a t-shirt and a statement necklace, to highlight the “vavavoom” ness of the skirt. I wore it to the a fashion show launching the Iconiq style app, which was filled with some of the most stylish people in DC. I think my skirt helped me fit in pretty well!
It is incredible how wearing something that fits YOU and was made especially for YOU can truly make one feel confident and sexy.
