Life is just…crazy. I’ve been going from one thing to the next and my blog has taken a backseat. I love it SO so much that I would write a post every single day if I could! But I work full time and have to be a wife, gym goer, food maker, apartment cleaner…and let’s just say I’m been eating a lot of takeout, and NOT going to the gym as much as I want.
Dan and I took these photos umm like A MONTH ago when we went on a date night. But since the weather is swinging back towards the cold, I figured my shaggy white coat was just the ticket.

We went to a really great French restaurant in our neighborhood (that’s the backdrop of these pics) and in true form I overdressed. Date night is special and I can’t pass up a chance to get dolled up! No sir/ma’am!
I really really wanted a shaggy coat this winter, but the only one’s I could find were upwards of $100. And it seemed dumb to spend that kind of money on a trendy item. Then I found this one for $52 (I got a 10, and there is currently 50% off by the way)!!! This one is really similar. I’m also simply dying over this one!
Spring is the time to stock up on coats for the next cold season. A lot of them are on sale, and you’ll be glad you snagged one for a good price when the fall rolls around. My favorite places to shop for coats are J.Crew and Nordstrom. I remember when I was trying on this North Face Parka last summer during the Nordstrom Sale and BOY did I get some use out of it this winter! So glad I got it.
My dress is a tank dress and it is THE MOST FLATTERING THING EVERRR. Take my word for it – the ruched detailing is so wonderful. And it is soft and comes in 6 colors. The color I’m wearing is called “grey cloudy heather” and I chose to get a small. I think I need it in red persimmon too.
