I’m not even gonna lie, this outfit is completely inspired by an article I read by Who What Wear. I looked at the picture and said “wow I have everything to recreate that!” and it worked out perfectly.

A long coat is so ‘city chic’. Oh, and it is WARM. I found mine at a really popular consignment shop in DC called Current Boutique. It was one of those situations where it fit just right…”meant to be” so to speak. This one is similar and I also love the price and color of this one.
Consignment shops always have SO much amazing stuff, from handbags to shoes, coats and jewelry. They are a great place to shop for closet classics when you don’t want to pay full price. I always forget that.
I tucked in a neutral turtleneck to my high-waisted jeans to make everything look streamlined. It’s the most versatile piece; I wear it alll the time! I last wore the turtleneck in this post with a white blazer.
My favorite neutral booties for the perfect height fix, and I added a pop of color with this adorable JustFab bag (it’s only $30!) Voila, a chic outfit with minimal effort and maximum comfort!
