Weekend Try-On Session
Hey everyone! I hope everyone’s weekend was as amazing as mine felt. I’m embarrassed to say this, but I finally got around to trying on all my Nordstrom Sale purchases and deciding which pieces to keep and which to send back. I wasn’t feeling like trying on clothes, making a huge mess of my room, and making decisions lately, which is why I waited for so long. The fashion show at our home went went something like this:
Me: What do you think of this top babe?
#Husbandofglam: looks sweet!
Me: How about this one? I know it is really similar to the other one I just tried on, but what are your thoughts?
#Husbandofglam: It looks sweet! Whatever you like, babe.
Does anyone else have a similar experience? I usually gauge whether he likes something or not by his immediate reaction when I come out of the room. At the end of the day, I always make the final decision, but it is nice to have a second opinion. Anyway, I’m super happy with everything I kept, and I can’t wait to show you when I start rolling out more fall content.
Lavender Pants
These lavender pants have been on my list for so long. My friend Alex from @Sassyconfetti wore her lavender pants on her Instagram, and she inspired me to get a pair. Then I remembered that my friend Dani has a whole lavender suit, too! I had to follow in the footsteps of two fabulous ladies I admire and get a pair for myself.
I paired them with a graphic tee that I snagged from ASOS, and a pair of lightweight acetate earrings that I can’t stop wearing. On my feet are the Jordan loafers that I got in Las Vegas (check out more about my trip!) They’re worth the hype, as they are the comfiest flats I own by far. I decided to go with the red canvas pair, and I’m so happy I did. Comfy and chic – my kind of outfit.
