H&M is one of those brands you can always count on to be on trend and affordable. If I’m looking for a certain trend that I have a feeling isn’t timeless (think cropped pants or certain statement jewelry) I know H&M will most likely have it. The best part is that I don’t have to commit my entire paycheck to following a “here today, gone tomorrow” fad.
I’m loving what H&M is doing right now with their participation in World Recycle Week. Beginning April 18th until the 24th, you can bring all of your unwanted clothing to H&M and they will recycle it for you. That includes any textiles, sheets with holes, yucky towels, ripped, whatever they will take it. It is part of an effort to “close the loop” in the textile industry. Pretty cool! As an incentive, you can get a 30% discount.
While you are all thinking about the shmatas that you are going to take to H&M, I found some fantastic new pieces that you can use your 30% discount on.

Yes! There were so many good things that it was hard to just pick a few. I love H&M’s patterns, too.

Nothing like a bargain! H&M sells some great colorful jeans, too. I never heard about the textile recycling there, either! Do they send the clothes to be reused for other things or recycle the material?
Roxanne says
Love a bargain. I haven’t tried their colorful jeans, yet! I believe that they reuse the textiles AND recycle the material to make new fabric.
