I LOVE shopping the Sephora spring sale! Sephora has their big beauty insider sale just twice a year, so you know it’s a big deal when they put literally everything on sale. I was stuck at Beauty Insider status for so long and finally made VIB status during the last sale. So I’m excited to shop semi-early.
Here are the details:
2020 Sephora Spring Sale
Shop the sale 4/17 through 5/1!
- Rouge status – 4/17 through 5/1.
- VIB status – Tuesday 4/21 – 4/29.
- Beauty Insiders – shop Thursday 4/23 – 4/27.
Sephora Beauty Insiders receive 10% off, VIB’s receive 15% off and Rouge members receive 20% off with code SPRINGSAVE.
The sale is a great time to stock up on your favorites, as well as try new products that you’ve been curious about. Like I said: the sale only happens twice a year so if there’s something you have your eye on THIS IS THE time to shop!
Here are my favorites that I always go back to and purchase during the Sephora sale. There are a few new favorites sprinkled in, too.
Skincare Obsessions
It’s rare to be so passionate about a facial cleanser, but First Aid Beauty’s pure skin cleanser is worthy. It’s a gentle, creamy formula that removes makeup, reduces redness, and clears up acne. I can’t say enough good things about it.
I’m on the bandwagon supporting this new cult obsession: Isle of Paradise self tanning drops. I was a hater until I tried them for myself, and now I can’t live without the gorgeous glow. The ease of use is what gets me: you just add a couple of drops to your favorite moisturizer in the morning! I use the medium shade.
Dr. Dennis Gross Stress Repair Face Cream is a creamy, effective moisturizer. I have oily skin and it doesn’t make me feel overly greasy or clog my pores. Since I started using it I’ve noticed that my skin looks much more lively and youthful. The Stress SOS Eye Cream is fabulous, too! It is a bit pricey, but the jar will seriously last you forever. I’ve been on the same jar since the summer and I’m not even halfway through!
If you’re looking for a body moisturizer that can do it all, Kopari Coconut Melt is your best friend. Put it on knees, elbows, dry feet, cuticles, and even your lips! I seriously love this stuff. I bought the mini size in the last sale so I could give it a try, and I’m definitely going back for the big size.
Hair
Pregnancy and breastfeeding wreaked havoc on my scalp. Suddenly, my scalp became really dry and just a hot mess. I got the Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Tea Tree Treatment on a total whim and GUYS it feels SO GOOD. Unlike other scalp treatments I’ve tried, it soothes and detoxes at the same time. I’ll never go without it.
Briogeo is a favorite brand overall. The Deep Conditioning Mask is a game changer at reviving dry hair and Scalp Revival Dry Shampoo is one of the only dry shampoos that my scalp will tolerate these days.
Makeup Faves
I won’t shut up about my favorite mascara of all time. It Cosmetics Superhero Elastic Stretch Mascara is lengthening, volumizing, and delivers all the drama I want in a mascara. And it is actually good for your lashes! It has collagen, peptides, and biotin in the formula.
Hourglass ambient lighting powders are absolutely beautiful on the skin. They make you look candle lit and glowy with a flawless complexion! Sephora used to have a palette combined with blush and bronzer, but for some reason they’re not available this year. Sephora does have a palette of the ambient lighting powders, though. And they’re an absolute must have.
Hourglass blushes are my favorite, too. And they come in minis! Diffused heat is my favorite – it is simply beautiful.
RMS beauty makes clean products that, in my opinion, are some of the best makeup products out there. They do exactly what they say they’ll do. Uncover-Up Concealer/Foundation can be used as a concealer or a foundation, and is designed to enhance your natural skin instead of masking it. Lip2Cheek is a a double duty product. I rub a little on my cheeks for a natural flush, and finish with a dab on my lips. My favorite shades are Illusive (a deep rose) and Beloved (a poppy red). Finally, RMS Living Luminizer is a super sheer highlight with ingredients that are actually good for your skin, like coconut oil and rosemary.
Do you hate wearing sunscreen? Yes, me too. But It Cosmetics CC Cream has SPF 40 and I don’t hate that. I love that I’m evening out my complexion and protecting it at the same time! This is my go-to foundation for every day. I have oily skin so I prefer the oil free matte formula, but it also comes in a non-matte version.
The sale is a good time to stock up on beauty blenders. I like the black one’s because they don’t show as much crud.
If we ever get a chance to go out on a date again, I highly recommend the Hourglass Seamless Finish Foundation Stick. It is long wearing, full coverage, and doesn’t crease. I like that the stick travels so well, too.
Setting powders can be so personal, but hear me out. I’m always rushing in the morning. I put Sidney down for a nap, get in a quick workout, shower, and do my beautifying routine as quickly as possible. So I’m always kind of hot when I get to make up. Becca Hydra-Mist Set and Refresh Powder was basically made for me. It refreshes and cools the skin on contact, and makes my pores disappear. This is one of my new favorites that I was talking about. It’s going to be a game changer this summer!
Who else always on the hunt for the perfect nude lip? I absolutely love Bare Minerals Liquid Lipstick in Swag. It’s the perfect nude with a creamy matte finish. It also kind tastes like chocolate!

So fun!! I don’t wear much makeup but I went into a Sephora store for the first time right before Christmas and it was magical, haha. I definitely want to get more into makeup now!

I got a sample of something that looks similar to that Hourglass blush, I need to see if it is the same thing… I really like it. I’m excited about this sale, because I have Rouge status this year!

The palette of ambient lighting sounds amazing–I’ll have to read the reviews to see if I want to invest in it!

Great picks. I was really hoping to snag the foundation with the sunscreen but it seems either they are out or they don’t carry it in Canada. Either way, I have the mascara in my cart, so thanks for the tip.

Have fun shopping the sale! I am guessing with everyone home less and not needing to wear makeup that you’ll have a lot of choice as I don’t think anything would sell out! 🙂
