I haven’t done many beauty posts lately, considering I hold myself out to have a style and beauty blog!
I recently started a series on my Instagram stories called “Getting ready with Rox” where we have a quick chat about the beauty favorites I’m using while I get ready in the morning. I typically talk about 1-2 favorites and show you how I’m using each product/tool! Brands tend to send me things in PR and I’m always dying for an excused to share them. Especially the ones I really can’t live without. Just in case you missed the series, I created a story highlight were you can re-watch the videos.
Here are the beauty favorties I’ve been OBSESSING about lately.
Recent Beauty Favorites
Juice Beauty Signal Peptides Serum. I went to the a dinner hosted by Juice beauty last month. We learned all about how they push themselves to keep their products organic, which is no easy feat! At the end of the evening, they gifted us with their new signal peptides serum. I remember that one of their head sales and marketing reps said the she is obsessed with this product so much that she got the owner of the company to give her a big pump bottle of it because she uses it all over her body. I was super excited to get home and try this serum for myself!
It is soft and smooth, smells delicious and fresh, and absorbs so quickly. After using it for a week I noticed how soft and smooth my skin was starting to look! I won’t shut up about this product because it is honestly the best serum I have ever used.
Sleek Make up Copperplate Highlighting Palette. I got this little palette as a gift, and I didn’t know what to expect from a highlighting palette. But don’t let this little palette’s tiny-ness fool you! It has 4 colors that you can use as both eyeshadows and highlighters on your face. I’ve been loving the copper and gold on my eyes, and the rose gold on my cheekbones.
Revlon Kiss Cushion Lip Tints. These lip tints are so fun! You twist up the color and it comes out on a plush lipstick-shaped tip. Instead of feeling super drying like most lip stains, this formula is moisturizing and soft, giving your lips a subtle tint. There are 10-shades to choose from, but my current favorites are Pink IRL and Crimson Feels.
Tea Tree Special Color Shampoo. My hair stylist Sabrina turned me on to this shampoo when I told her how itchy my scalp was feeling. With the changing of the seasons and working out and dry shampoos and you name it, my scalp hasn’t been feeling so hot. This shampoo has existed in a non-color safe formula for a loooooong long time, which was always such a bummer because the tea tree and peppermint formula smells incredible and is soothing AF. But I could ever use it because of my colored hair. I was SUPER pumped to hear that the shampoo now comes in a color-safe formula. Once a week, I use it to detox and soothe my scalp, and use this awapuhi moisturizing shampoo the rest of the week. Not kidding – I seriously rub it in and let it sit on my scalp for like 5 minutes in the shower – it is euphoric.
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!
