Luckily I don’t have too many fine lines and wrinkles, but preventative maintenance is key for my almost-30 face. For just 3 minutes a day I can look like a superhero and dramatically reduce the wrinkles around my eyes and forehead with the Dr. Dennis Gross SpectraLite EyeCare Pro. What’s not to like about that!?
SPECTRALITE EYECARE PRO REVIEW
The Dr. Dennis Gross SpectraLite Eyecare Pro has 72 LEDs, showcasing a full spectrum of therapeutic light. I like that it brings professional light therapy to your home in a next-generation, hands-free contraption!
The SpectraLite Eyecare Pro goes over your eyes with lights concentrated on the “eleven lines” and temples, where wrinkles commonly occur. I took a photo of the inside of the mask so you can see what I’m talking about. Since I didn’t take any before and after photos (I don’t have any wrinkles yet) I wanted to show you the back of the packaging, which does have some before and after pics.
Pretty amazing right? The package of theSpectraLite Eyecare Pro explains the science better than I can, too, in a pretty nifty graphic.
I personally prefer to do my light therapy routine in the morning. I wake up and feed my kitties, turn on the coffee machine, then go brush my teeth and wash my face. Before I put on any face creams, I strap the SpectraLite Eyecare Pro to my face and press the on button!
The light kind of shines my eyes, so I hobble over to the coffee machine and wait for about a minute as my Nespresso works its’ magic. By the time I add my collagen (read this post) and creamer (nondairy of course) to my coffee, 2 minutes have a already passed. I walk over to the couch to grab my computer to check my emails, and by then my daily light treatment is done!
After having used it for a week, it easily fits into my routine. I actually keep it right next to my coffee machine so I remember to use it. I haven’t seen any results yet, as I’ve only been using it a week, but I am sure that I will!
My only complaint for theSpectraLite Eyecare Pro is that it leaves lines on the tops of my cheeks when the 3 minutes are over. I thought that perhaps I was tightening the strap too much, but when I loosened it the last couple of days I still see a line. It goes away quickly, though.
These photos are so funny because when the light is on I look possessed! The mask comes with the strap, a charger (it works for 10 treatments before you need to charge it again) and a handy little storage bag.
If you’re interested in trying it out, you can purchase the SpectraLite Eyecare Pro at Sephora stores or on the Dr. Dennis Gross website.
Thank you to Dr. Dennis Gross for kindly sponsoring this post. All opinions are 100% honest & completely my own.
