Pink is my jam. Not necessarily hot pink, but the soft blush or dusty pink. You’ve seen me in pink dresses, pink shoes…and plenty of pink handbags have graced this blog. So now it’s time to feature something else awesome and pink – the Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Mask!
SAND & SKY AUSTRALIAN PINK CLAY MASK
I live in downtown DC where there is a lot of traffic and I’m always going underground to the metro (hello stale yucky air!) Being exposed to the pollution of day to day city living takes a toll on my skin. To try and combat those effects, I like to apply a face mask a couple times a week to invigorate and brighten my skin, and to absorb some of the toxins that may get stuck in my pores.
I know it is hard to fit a mask into an already busy schedule, but I recently switched to using this pink clay mask in the morning. I will wake up 10 minutes earlier (the mask takes 10 min to work) and apply my pink clay mask, then wash it off and have glowy skin all day long.
The Sand & Sky pink clay mask comes in a pretty little blue jar, which you open to find and purplish-pink mask. It smells very natural, clean, and soothing with a slightly salty undertone which kind of reminds me of the ocean.
The first three ingredients are Australian Pink Clay, water, Bentonite (a type of healing clay), and Aloe Vera. There are no nasties, no parabens, and it is cruelty-free. This brand literally only makes the mask, so you know they are focused on one thing only. I like that.
I love that this pink clay mask comes with a cute little applicator brush, because I’ve been known to get my hands all messy when I apply a mask. And, without fail, I always get mask in my hair! The brush also helps to make the product go a long way, since you’re not gooping it on with your fingers.
When I’m wearing the pink clay mask I like to imagine I’m one of the gorgeous Australian supermodels on the Sand & Sky website, and I’m in on their secret Australian clay beauty weapon. Call me silly, but a product that can transport you to feel an experience (like a YSL lipstick from Paris or a Dead Sea salt bath) is pretty unique and special.
I noticed that this pink clay mask does make my pores look smaller and my skin looks brighter and more refreshed. The brightening qualities of the mask makes it look like I had a full 8 hours of sleep! When I use it I can usually skip foundation and opt for a lighter tinted moisturizer, just because it makes my skin happy. It’s like my little piece of Australian pink goddess heaven right in my apartment.
Do you have a product that makes you feel like a goddess? What do you think of the pink mask?
Thank you Sand & Sky for sponsoring this post.

This sounds like a fabulous mask! I also struggle with when I have time to put a mask on. I put one on while I clean my house every weekend or in the morning while I get my breakfast and tea ready. Finding time is worth it because masks can make such a difference on your skin!

Oh I hadn’t heard of this brand before, even though I’m Aussie, haha! So thank you for the introduction.
The pink clay sounds different and interesting enough to make me want to try it, hearing that it lives up to it’s claims and it is a great purchase makes it even more tempting! 🙂
Hope you are having a great week! I just published my first eBook so I’m having a pretty good week! 🙂
