I take daily supplements to help me achieve my goals. And by goals I mean some large and small – energy, digestion, skincare, hair growth, and general well being. Here are 5 of my favorites right now.
1.Hemp Oil. This is a new one and I am still figuring out how I like it. I put about 12 drops of this oil under my tongue in the morning. It is supposed to reduce inflammation, muscle soreness, PMS symptoms, and anxiety. I’m just starting to try it out, so I’ll circle back with any life changing results. 2.Biotin. My friend Julianna’s hair and nails grow like weeds! She old me about this brand of Biotin and ever since I started taking it my nails grow so quickly. What is even better is that they don’t break off like they used to. I’m also starting to notice a lot of baby hairs around my hairline! I take 1 in the morning and 1 in the evening.
3.Nuun tabs. These electrolyte tablets pack a punch. They taste delicious in water and help me stay hydrated in this insanely humid weather. I only take one if I feel really hungover or extremely dehydrated.
4.Vital Proteins Collagen. I add one scoop to my morning coffee. At first I could taste it (it is vaguely beefy I guess?) but I am so used to it by now that I can’t taste it. The powder dissolves completely in any liquid. Since adding a scoop a day I have noticed a vast improvement in my skin.
5.Probiotics. If you’re not taking a probiotic, then you must be living in a cave. Probiotics are essential to getting things moving and vital to my digestive health, if you catch my drift. I don’t mean to be all “TMI” but I can absolutely see a difference in my digestion when I am taking a probiotic versus not taking one. I go for the heavy duty 85 billion culture once the evenings.
