So I kind of invited myself to this DC blogger brunch group called Bubbles & Bloggers. Because I needed to get in with a crowd that enjoys brunch, mimosas, and blogging as much as I do. I had the pleasure of meeting them at Toro Toro last weekend, and we picked a festival/boho/coachella theme.

Jia of Le London Chic took these photos for me. She is so sweet and chic and taught me some invaluable pointers. Dani of Blonde in the District also came early, and is as colorful and friendly as her instagram lends itself to be! Sarah from District Damsel is so bubbly and cute! Vivi of Heart Print and Style and Kristin of Why Not Kristin joined us for brunch, and we laughed and swapped tips and talked about blogging over a few rounds of mimosas.
This is my type of festival outfit: relatively simple and sort of conservative. I am so sad that this top is already sold out because I love having any reason to wear it! I linked some similar ones I found, though. If I really went to a festival I’d probably wear jean shorts or a suede skirt like this one.
As an aside, I like to layer this gorgeous pink and ivory bralette because it can peek through in the back. I’m thinking of picking up the halter version in this gorgeous pastel orange color. These bralettes are a spring/summer essential for me because they are light, comfortable and look so cute layered under different tops. They are worth the price for sure.
It was so nice to share an afternoon with a group of like-minded women who genuinely want to support each other. These ladies are a class act, and I am excited for what they are doing and saying. Take a look at their blogs, and/or check out their fabulous instagrams and show them some love!
