Friday Fizz: What I Packed For 11 Days In France

11 amazing and unforgettable days in France. That’s potentially A LOT of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories. I find that a trip is much more enjoyable when I pack light, keep it simple, and recycle clothing in innovative ways.

Here’s all the clothing I packed for my 11 day trip to France at the end of August, in a small roller carry on bag. I also had my toiletries, makeup, camera, computer, and enough room to bring home 3 bottles of wine and some small souvenirs. Schlepping around a huge rolling bag is absolutely impossible if you’re running around a country trying to see all the sights. If you’re staying put, then fine. But we went to Nice, Ville-Franche Sur Mer, Monaco, Arles, Avignon, Honfleur, Bayeux, Mont. St. Michel, Versailles, and Paris. WHEW!

Midori Linea Jewelry

So I first discovered Midori Linea at a pop-up event in my apartment building! I told the owner and designer (who is now one of my good friends) that it was the perfect jewelry that I always dreamed of but never knew existed! But it does exist. And I am obsessed.

Life Hacks to Help You Do and Be MORE

*As you know I’m sharing MiO in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™. As always, my opinions are my own, and I am so lucky to get to work with great brands that support Glass of Glam and my mission to give you the realest and best content!

Now that I’m back from France, it is back to the normal grind. So I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to share some more productivity hacks.

Who doesn’t want to do more? Sometimes I wish I had a clone so I could do multiple things at once. But alas, I have one brain, one set of hands, and one heart.

In my productivity series with MiO, I last wrote about how to squeeze more out of your afternoon, but this time I wanted to think broader and talk about life hacks for doing more in general.

Friday Fizz: Summer Stripes

We finally made it to Friday. We’ve been having some cooler days and nights in DC, which gets me thinking about shifting to fall colors and styles. But at the same time, August can still be hot and sticky. Stripes are a great way to slowly transition away from summer brights while still remaining cool and on trend.

Thinking About Fall

I’m always happy when the weather starts to cool down, but not quite ready to trade in my sandals and dresses for sweaters and booties.  I’m easing into it a light weight duster cardigan that I think I’ve worn almost every day since I got it a week ago!
