What girl doesn’t want to feel like a mermaid for a day with hair all the way down her back! As I get older I find that my hair doesn’t grow like it used to, so sometimes I could use a little help! I played around with these Lux Beauty Club hair extensions for a date night and I love the way they looked!
This post isn’t sponsored by the way. I just love the outfit and the photos so I had to share! I always note when a post is sponsored so you guys are aware, but I always share my honest opinion no matter what.
After being in New York for fashion week this weekend, I’m happy to be back home! This was my second time attending (you can read about my first time here) so I knew what to expect, but it wasn’t any less crazy or amazing!
Today’s post is from a couple of weeks ago when Dan and I discovered a delicious german restaurant in our neighborhood called Cafe Berlin.
As you know, I’m sharing MiO in my life as part of a sponsored series for Socialstars™. As always, my opinions are my own! I am so lucky to get to work with great brands that support Glass of Glam and my mission to give you the realest and best content!
This is the third installment in my productivity series with MiO. In my first post I talked about how to increase your afternoon activity, then we discussed how to be a more productive person in general. Now for my third post I’m switching gears a little bit and focusing on the active and exercise portion of your life.
We ventured out of the city a few months ago to visit some Virginia wineries! It is one of our favorite things to do when we want to take a quick day trip out of the city. On this trip we went to Stone Tower Winery, which is known for its beautiful outdoor spaces and sprawling scenery.
Wohooo! I’m finally back in DC after a fun weekend in Chicago. We stayed with my brother and sister in law in the city for a couple of nights and really indulged in some of the most amazing food ever. By some miracle, we managed to get a last minute reservation at Girl and The Goat (I’m a huge Top Chef fan, and it was all I dreamed it would be!) We also went to Au Cheval for legendary burgers, and dear got it was delicious.
Dan and I treated ourselves (err..more like punished) to a 5 mile run last night as a way to try and offset all the crazy good eating. I probably burned off maaaaybe 1/4 of that burger I ate, hahaaaaaa.
Stripes AND florals. What could be better than the marriage of the two prints!? Yup I found the perfect dress.
As for a life update, I’m headed back to DC from Boston today! I have been trying to be better about posting my real life happenings on my Instagram (I’m @glassofglam over there), so there are a lot of Boston and Newport, Rhode Island highlights over there!
Welcome back and welcome Monday! I spent the weekend in Cleveland with my family and friends. It was so nice to be home and try new things that weren’t in Cleveland when I left.
But, alas, these photos weren’t taken in Cleveland. I wish I was quick like that! These were from a day when Dan and I went down to the Georgetown waterfront to drink some coffee and enjoy a stroll. I always find myself overdressed for these occasions.
