I hope everyone is traveling or settling in safely for the holiday tonight! I made myself a “Christmas challah” to nibble on throughout the next few days since nearly everything will be closed. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be Jewish on Christmas, give this post a gander.
At this time of year I’m always looking back on the past year and thinking about my New Year’s resolutions. What did I accomplish, and what can I do better? I’m so thankful for what this little piece of the internet has brought me, and I couldn’t do it without you guys. Thank you for all your love and support and for coming back to see the content we create. I promise that the next year we have even more improvement in store!
New Years = An Excuse For a Stunning Gold Sequin Dress
So while we were doing our epic holiday glam shoot, we also decided to shoot a fun little New Year’s gold sequin dress. I got this sequined dress from Rent the Runway! The sequins go back and forth to make the customize-able gold pattern on the side. If you’re still looking for what to wear on New Year’s, it isn’t too late! They have tons of gorgeous sequined and New Year party attire. If you order a dress on Rent The Runway, it arrives in just 2 days! So you can technically order as late as Sunday (if you’re feeling daring).
As if a full-on gold sequin dress isn’t enough bling for New Years, I added glitter heels. Plus the prettiest sapphire and diamond earrings and cocktail ring from Ivy and Rose Vintage. Gold Plaited in River North killed it with the hair and makeup! I can’t wait to go back and get glammed up again!
