When you find an item of clothing that really works, buy it in every color, right?

First, I want to wish everyone a Happy Passover, and a happy belated Easter.
This weekend was so insanely fun. We started the weekend by seeing live music at a club in Chicago called the Basement. The band was absolutely phenomenal and played everything from Despacito to 99 Problems. I was in heaven, but I have to admit my ears are still ringing from the loudness.
I competed in Orange Theory’s Dri Tri on Saturday morning, which was basically a timed workout consisting of a 2000 meter row, 300 bodyweight exercises (pushups and squats and such) followed by a 5K. Since it was my first one I wasn’t sure how I would do, but I ended up finishing in 4th place at just under 46 minutes! It sounds horrible but it was actually pretty fun. The girl who won first place ran her 5K (3.1 miles) at a brisk pace of 8 minutes per mile (or a 7.5mph on the treadmill). Jeez Louise! I ran my first mile at 6mph, bumped it up to 6.5mph for the second, and 7mph for the third and I thought I was hauling ass!
We rounded out the day with a special Passover dinner menu at Joe’s crowned with Matzah ball soup and chopped liver (you gotta go if you’re ever in Chicago) followed by the new Pretty Woman Musical. The storyline is hard to mess up, but let’s just say that I won’t be running out to get the soundtrack, haha. The songs were cheesy af and not too catchy, but I still really enjoyed the show and being at the theater with my love.
So yes, I have a similar blazer in burgundy that I wore not so long ago. I found that the double breasted blazer works so well for me that I decided I needed it in another color. Admittedly, my stylist friend Marisa posted it on her instagram story when she was pulling for a client, so I messaged her immediately. The white, blue and black checked pattern is so perfect and versatile – I’ve already worn it so many times. Sorry not sorry.
My new favorite mules are making a debut, and I promise this is not the last time you’ll see them. And these heart sunnies, too! How cute are they with the little rosette details!? I knew I needed them the moment I saw them.

My favorite look from last week’s linkup is Amy from Amy’s Creative Pursuits!
Amy’s perfect floral top and white denims my kind of outfit. Simple elegant, and casual! If you head to her blog post you’ll even spot a quick cameo of her adorable kitty, Jackson!

I am all for buying something in multiple colors if you love it—I tend to do that most with basics like tees. That blazer does look great on you!

You are amazing!!! Congratulations! I am super impressed, I must say. Gearing up to try something new is always fun, mixed in with a little bit of nerves. Okay, loving this blazer. I totally would wear it over and over and over again, like a popular radio song. Have a great week.

I think this might be one of my favorite looks on you. I had to laugh at your line about buying it in every color. My daughter is so anti-that idea and I’m totally pro-it. I’ve been having a really hard time getting behind the whole white shoe idea, but these are pretty darn cute. Happy Monday, Roxanne!!! XO
