My Pretty New Laptop Skin & Phone Case

I love dressing up. Different colors for holidays and occasions, tassels, fabrics, prints, you name it. So why wouldn’t I dress up my sidekick? I’m not talking about my cat Elwood (although I doubt he would let me) – I’m talking about my PHONE.

I’m a technology girl and technology is me. With my blog and constant need to be connected, I am always carrying around my devices. My phone and laptop are two must haves, with my camera as a close third. Since I’m always using them they might as well look cute.

CaseApp reached out and asked me to design my own phone case and laptop skin, but when I was perusing their huge collection of designs the palm prints already spoke to me. I didn’t need to design much further. I went with “Beverly Hills By AM” which is a more retro wallpaper palm for my phone case. And for my laptop skin, I picked “Tropical Feelings“.  I love the beachy vibe because it signifies vacation and the good life!

Let me tell you why a pretty laptop case can change your life. There have been too many times when I am watching Netflix all cozy on the couch and my computer is staring back at me saying “get to work! Edit those photos already! Do your accounting!” But with my the new festive palm skin, it is like my computer is smiling at me rather than glowering. Sometimes when I’m deciding whether to bring my laptop on a trip, I’ll opt to bring it because maybe the fun skin will brighten my day or someone else’s.

So far the phone case has proven worthy, because not only is it pretty but it is also durable. CaseApp has the option of designing a “tough” case that protects your phone with a silicone lining and the hard case of your design over it, which is what I did. I’ve dropped my phone several times with this case and my phone is still in tip top shape! The laptop skin however, isn’t a protective case. It is just a pretty sticker that goes over the top of your laptop.
