I’m a VIB so I snagged my picks on Tuesday. Only some of the products I recommend are in the graphic, so keep reading!
What I’m Buying from the Sephora Holiday Sale 2021:
I picked out a few things that I want to try and a few staples and I know I use to the last drop. I love Living Proof’s dry shampoo and go through it pretty quickly. It is one of the only dry shampoos that doesn’t irritate my sensitive scalp. The Oribe texture spray is simply the best, but I only stock up when it is on sale. I went through my entire mini size of this setting powder and looved it, so I picked up the full size! And since I love Charlotte Tilbury so much, I though I’d finally try the cult favorite Pillow Talk lipstick that everyone raves about. The set I picked comes with a matching lip liner.
The Maison Louis Marie candle is highly recommended, and since I’m a candle gal I thought I needed to try it out! Finally, I got Glowscreen, an tinted spf that’s supposed to make your skin look really nice. I think it will be perfect for every day.
Hair Favorites
I have so many hair products that I love, but here are the ones that I use regularly. You know I love my Briogeo scalp oil. It really helped me postpartum and I still use it for cooling relief when my scalp flares up. Briogeo’s hair mask is also top notch and I use it about once a week.
Living proof’s dry shampoo is a life saver, and this texture spray (while pricey) is simply the best. It lasts a long time.
Skincare
I don’t purchase most of my skincare at Sephora (I just don’t happen to be using many of their brands right now) but there are a handful of products I DO use that are worth mentioning. I recently discovered this glycolic peel (30% strength – woah!) and after using it once a week it has helped clear up my hormonal acne and keeps my skin looking and feeling smooth. First Aid Beauty’s face cleaner is the best I have ever used and keep going back to it, because it removes all dirt and makeup so well.
Laneige lip sleeping mask is a total game changer. My lips get super dry but using a bit of this overnight helps a ton. Glow Recipe’s watermelon sleeping mask is incredible – you wake up looking so refreshed and lovely. I know it isn’t summer anymore, but Isle of Paradise tanning drops give you such a nice healthy glow. I mix a drop in with my other morning skincare.
As for skincare tools, I really like using my PMD Microderm tool once a week (my full review here). It helps to exfoliate my skin and all my skincare products soak in and work so much more effectively. I also use my Foreo Luna mini facial cleanser daily! I find that my face doesn’t get as clean when I don’t use it.
Makeup
I’m not wearing makeup as much these days, but when I am I’m going for a natural look. My favorite all-over face product is RMS Beauty’s un-cover up. I use it as a concealer to brighten up my under eyes and any blemishes, rather than using a foundation. I already mentioned the Charlotte Tilbury setting powder (simply the best) and if you love Pillow Talk lipstick, this is a great time to get it! Ilia brow gel is the best I have ever used. And finally, my one stop shop palette for blush, bronzer, and highlighter is the Hourglass ambient lighting face palette. These powders give you the most beautiful healthy glow. I pack it whenever I travel because it has everything in one place!
