I am SO SORRY for ghosting you for this long! The last time I went this long without posting was such a long time ago! My computer broke and that’s my lame excuse.
Now that is is fixed I can finally show you my favorite new outfit.

Thank you so much for bearing while me while I completely skipped out on last week’s linkup! I love you guys and I LOVE this blog, so skipping a week of posting due to computer troubles was absolutely agonizing. My husband will vouch.
I spent last weekend in DC visiting friends and celebrating my friend Caroline’s bachelorette, then immediately flew to Santa Monica to relax. Dan had a conference that tied him up in the mornings, but we were able to explore and hang out in SoCal every evening. I posted a bunch of photos of my trip on Instagram. I really needed a vacation away from my hectic routine. Now I feel totally rejuvenated and ready for spring to come to Chicago!
My friends and husband have probably seen this burgundy blazer outfit a million times, as this is my new favorite blazer! I saw the double breasted silhouette, gold buttons, and burgundy color and it was immediately mine. I think it might be sold out in the burgundy, but I believe it is available in navy blue. But if you have your heart set on burgundy check out this burgundy blazer.
I wear it to work over black slacks, over dresses, and I’m even thinking it would go well with some of my activewear. I like that the burgundy blazer hits me mid thigh, because all the yummy Chicago food has left me with a few extra pounds to hide! But the beauty of knowing how to dress myself allows me to hide a few extra pounds here and there. To add a feminine vibe to my otherwise masculine-ish burgundy blazer, a pink lace cami was the perfect layering piece! I also really love this polka dot one.

I like this blazer’s length cause it looks a bit more like a coat and THAT makes it seem like you’re headed out on some kind of adventure
Lisa Richardson says
I love the length of this blazer. It doesn’t hit right where a lot of blazers might tend to “cut” you. I don’t even own a blazer anymore. I use to have several but haven’t had any in years. Now, go put on a turtleneck under it because you’re making me cold looking at your cute little cami.????

That’s a beautiful blazer. The color is lovely just eye catching and the gold buttons are a nice contrast. I love burgundy! It’s always nice to take a break and a forced one like a computer breaking is much needed. I personally haven’t posted weekly but for different reasons. With so much to learn and maneuver with a blog, I have been taking a step back and slowing down and just taking my pace. Instead of disliking it because I feel like it can take over your life if you let it you know. But back to you, lol ????,welcome back and so glad you had a good time with your trips! Happy Monday!
