Friday evening was a much needed girl’s night out with the DC blogger ladies.We all wanted an excuse to get dolled up and enjoy some quality time with each other. And to drink champagne.
Sarah of District Damsel hosted us at her beautiful apartment, and we snapped some photos (in the yucky rain) before chatting for upwards of 3 hours, then checking out SAX lounge.

It was so nice to get to know everyone better, and of course to see what everyone decided to wear! All the ladies have different personal styles, which we all happily embrace. They called mine “polished MOD” because I typically wear classic pieces with a vintage flair.
This dress is no exception. I saw this dress online and it screamed my name. The structure, the abstract stripes, the colors…everything is perfect. I’m actually glad that it was cold on Saturday evening so I could have an excuse to wear it. See the last time I wore an ASOS dress here! ASOS is always spot on for amazing dresses.
My shoes are sold out in patent leather, but they do come in regular nude. Another good option is here if you are looking for d’orsay pumps. P.s. my bag is $22.
