We finally made it to Friday. We’ve been having some cooler days and nights in DC, which gets me thinking about shifting to fall colors and styles. But at the same time, August can still be hot and sticky. Stripes are a great way to slowly transition away from summer brights while still remaining cool and on trend.

I’ve had my eye on this dress for awhile because I love the cute tassels and muted stripes. I would wear it with the duster cardigan from yesterday’s post and some easy slides.
This mustard long sleeve top would pair perfectly with denim shorts and these adorable pink sneakers for a cool and easy weekend look.
How chic is this one shoulder top!? I love the wide stripes and the fact that it is only $19.
My friend Sarah has this midi dress and I’ve been lusting over it! I think I’m going to pull the trigger. The colors are so flattering and perfect for the fall transition. She wears the midi dress to work and out after.
