Hello From The Cabin!
I hope everyone had a lovely and relaxing Christmas! So we’re technically back in Chicago now. But we spent the weekend at a rental cabin up in Saugatuck, Michigan. It is only 2 hours away but feels like a a world away. I couldn’t wait to get Sidney in bed so I could start uploading photos from our trip. These are some we snapped on the front porch.
We decided to go to Michigan because the monotony of every day life was starting to set in. We booked a quick Christmas getaway. If you want a laugh and ever wonder what it’s like to be Jewish on Christmas, give this old post a read! We’ve been to Saugatuck before (when I was 7 months pregnant) but never in the winter, and never with Sidney.
The cabin was an absolute dream. With wood everywhere, a roaring fireplace, hot tub on the porch, and cozy quilted bedspreads. Think picturesque cabin and that’s exactly what it was. And to top it all off, it snowed so romantically the night we got to the cabin. We sipped on hot chocolate in front of the fire and all our worries melted away.
Cozy Knit Loungewear Set
I packed mostly loungewear and certainly only comfortable clothing. I just loved changing out of my pajamas and into a new cozy loungewear set every morning. This leopard brushed knit loungewear set is one of the ones I mentioned in my post last week. Sadly it is so popular that it sold out, but this set is really similar, and so is this top and bottom set. I sized up for extra coziness.
I love a set because it looks more like an intentional outfit. Although we didn’t go anywhere past our front porch on this day! We popped outside to admire the snowflakes, sip on some hot chocolate, and snap a few dreamy front porch photos. We’re already talking about when we can come back to the cabin! Check out some more of my favorite cozy knit sets below! Make sure you check out this one, this one, and I love these lace details.
