Ever since I moved to DC I’ve been looking for some “DC Swag”. Once you earn your spot in a city, you deserve to rep the city like a local, right?
I discovered Bailiwick Clothing Company through my friend, Dani, and I must say it’s the PERFECT DC swag for me.

Here’s how I came to possess my own Bailiwick tank! I went to a DC blogger social, and bought like 20 raffle tickets because the proceeds went to support a women and children’s shelter.
When the raffle winners were called, I proceeded to win like 50% of the prizes. It was SO EMBARASSING! People were like, oh, her again. But I was pumped! I ended up winning 3 Bailiwick tanks! The one pictured, this blue 202 one, and this “chocolate city” one.
I got to chatting with the owner and founder, and it turns out we are both from the Cleveland area! So we have a lifelong connection – Clevelanders now repping DC in our Bailiwick swag.
The tanks are super soft. I wear them whenever I travel, sometimes to work out (I tie them in the back), and around the house with a cardigan. I’m seriously obsessed.
For this look I styled my tank with my favorite distressed denim (also seen here and here) and an open flannel (I wore it this summer, too!) that you can’t really see. This parka is my ABSOLUTE favorite from J.Crew Factory. It is kind of like the J.Crew version, but with less bells and whistles, and cheaper! They are out of this color, but I also love the gray and the red. Finally, this scarf is the most wonderful scarf I own. And it is warm, too!
How do you rep your city? Even if I wasn’t wearing a DC tank, this type outfit is one of my favorites. Casual, a little edgy, and a touch of bohemian flair.
