Weekly Refreshment: My Affordable Shopbop Sale Picks

Spring has NOT arrived in Chicago. Not even close. So all my spring purchases are collecting dust. So while I watch the southern bloggers but out the sandals and dresses, I’m up here adding things to my shopping cart.

OUTFIT DETAILS:

SOPRANO DRESS via WIKIBUY, option, option | M.GEMI LOAFERS, option | BAG (only $11)

This morning (April 11 mind you) I was walking to the bus stop in my parka, hat, winter boots, and purple gloves. I saw the landscapers planting beautiful purple flowers in the frozen, snow-ridden ground.  They were obviously scheduled to plant them months ago when this unnaturally cold spring weather wasn’t forecasted. But just like those landscapers, there is almost nothing stopping me from pretending it is spring anyway.

There’s a big ‘ol sale going on at Shopbop so I thought I’d share my springy picks with you. I broke this Shopbop Sale post down into the categories I have my eye on: straw bags, cute tops, spring dresses, jewelry, and slides. And as always, I didn’t pick anything that is way too expensive. These shoes are the only thing I picked that is way expensive, HA!

We’ve been a little lucky with our weather lately, but there could be more snow on Friday. I think we ought to just change the start of the season—then we wouldn’t be so disappointed. Spring should maybe start the end of April????
