Sunday was cold and rainy. I was sad because I wanted to go to Baked & Wired and get a weekend cupcake treat. (You may have seen me staring outside longingly on Instagram.) Then the rain turned into snow! I got excited to so we bundled up and ventured out to Georgetown.
I bundled in my favorite JCrew Factory parka with a cozy and fuzzy burgundy sweater. This parka is stylish and really warm. I picked the dusty ginger color because I thought it was unique. Just so you know for sizing I am 5’1″ and normally a 4-6 dress size and I ordered a 00 in the parka. It runs a bit large, so I recommend ordering a size down. Or do what I do and order 2 and return one, hah.
I added this floppy hat (sadly sold out in burgundy, but it comes in black, gray, and tan now) and studded gloves (these are cool too.) I like how the studded gloves add a little edginess. I love these blanket scarves because they are so warm and versatile. I’ve been wearing it around the house because it has been frigid.
I choose a Tessita cake cup (Vanilla with dulce-de-leche filling and chocolate hazelnut frosting) and Dan chose the Dirty Chai (vanilla with chai spices and espresso frosting). I also picked up some of their granola, aptly named Hippie Crack.) It is SO GOOD. I sprinkle it on anything and everything. Well, okay not like green beans or tacos but you get the point. It is nom nom nom.
And what would a trip to Georgetown be without a visit to Dean & DeLuca? Certainly unacceptable.
Stay warm guys!
