If there’s one fall staple I can’t live without, it is my sweaters. Dan said that at first glance my sweater looks like a baseball.
On our move to Chicago (read about it in this post) we stopped halfway in Cleveland, Ohio to visit out parents. My mom helped me take these photos in my parents’ gorgeous back and front yard! I wish my mom lived closer because she did such a great job taking these, haha.
We went to a pretty epic halloween party this weekend, as well as a Simpson’s themed bar. We also got to try out some new restaurants. I’ll show you pictures of it all in this week’s newsletter, so make sure you sign up!
I picked out this sweater for under $25 and I have to say I’ve already worn it 5-6 times. It is so comfortable and the tie front detail makes it special. As I said, Dan mentioned that I looked like a baseball, which in hindsight would have been a cute halloween costume. He is kind of right except the laces would have to be red.
I have a similar lace-up sweater in beige (see this post) that I styled with a burgundy skirt and otk boots! Love that sweater, too! My booties are one of my favorite purchases from this summer’s Nordstrom Sale, and my necklace is from an online boutique called T&J Designs (and also comes in white!) You can get 20% off jewelry from T&J Designs with code JEWELOCT20.

My favorite look from last week’s link-up was Monica from Jersey Girl, Texan Heart!
Monica dressed up as Britney in her Slave 4 U video and I am SO IMPRESSED. In the spirit of Halloween and in remembrance of the abs I visualize while I”m slaving at the gym, this had to be my fave. Thank you, Monica!
