This weekend was exactly what I needed. Relaxing and productive! Dan and I slept in, cooked, went for long walks, worked out, binge watched some shows (Band of Brothers is SO good if you haven’t seen it already) and ordered takeout. And I broke down all those darn boxes (blogger life, haha). All in all a very successful at-home weekend.
Today’s look is a retro inspired outfit from ModCloth. I LOVE vintage inspired pieces that make me feel feminine and confident.

You’re probably thinking that my outfit is a little retro-glam today, and you’d be right because it is from ModCloth! ModCloth.com,‘s philosophy is that fashion is for every body, and that’s something that I can get behind. They hold true to that commitment with a full range of sizes, starting at XXS and going to 4XL. With a vast collection of curated pieces from their in house line and hundreds of independent designers ModCloth has merchandise for every style and look out there!
ModCloth’s clothing makes me feel feminine and powerful because it celebrates my curves and makes me feel amazing. I picked out this skirt because of its versatility (when would you not need a navy pencil skirt that fits like a glove!?), and this sweater tee because I love the color scheme and cute flowers. They happen to go so well together.
While ModCloth is known for their vast collection of dresses (the last time I wore ModCloth on the blog was in this post, HELLO blonde hair!) they also carry so many amazing separates that will easily take you from work to the weekend. Guys, my skirt looks like denim but feels like butter. I’m typically a size 2-4 and I’m wearing a small.
As a side note, did you get last week’s newsletter? It was the first weekly newsletter for Glass of Glam insiders! Everyone who subscribes receives a special little surprise (something fun that other blog followers don’t get). Make sure you subscribe so you can be in on it this week!
THANK YOU for all the emails and texts and feedback on the first newsletter. I spent so much time on it and was freaking out, so I am really happy to hear your thoughts. I’d love more feedback this upcoming week! Yay I love you guys!

My favorite look from last week was Jodie from Jodie’s Touch Of Style!
Jodie styled a dress extender to create a chic and appropriate look with a shorter shirt dress. If you haven’t visited Jodie’s blog, I urge you to read! She coordinates styles for many body styles and budgets by styling one look/theme on several models. She does so by styling herself (50+), her step mom Nancy (60+) and her mom Charlotte (70+). The amount of time she must spend on each post is seriously admirable!
Make sure you check out Sarah’s blog for her pick of the week!
