Welcome back and welcome Monday! I spent the weekend in Cleveland with my family and friends. It was so nice to be home and try new things that weren’t in Cleveland when I left.
But, alas, these photos weren’t taken in Cleveland. I wish I was quick like that! These were from a day when Dan and I went down to the Georgetown waterfront to drink some coffee and enjoy a stroll. I always find myself overdressed for these occasions.
I decided to go with a bright red flowy top from Cuddy Studios (it also comes in Navy). The little cutouts are so cute! You can see them in the close up photos.
If you haven’t tried Hush Puppies shoes lately, I highly suggest you do! I always thought Hush Puppies were geriatric and that they didn’t make cute styles, but I was so wrong! So not only are my gray heels stylish, they are also super comfortable.
Straw bags are all the rage right now. I like this one because it fits so much stuff and it is only $44. I’m trying to grow my collection of cute straw bags, but I currently have two others you might remember that I styled here and here!
I love these earrings because they are super lightweight and don’t make your earring holes sag. That kind of freaks me out. I wore them last in this blush wrap dress outfit which was styled totally differently! Even though the earrings contain distinct colors (red, pink, black), it doesn’t mean you are pigeon-holed into wearing them with one specific outfit. That’s what I love about them. They are kind of subdued next to my bright red top because it steals the show!
My favorite look from last week’s linkup was Bojana from Bo’s Bodacious Blog!
For this look, Bo went perfectly bohemian for a summer concert. From her dress, to her espadrilles, to her earrings, her whole look was just amazing! I’ve been having a lot of fun following her on Instagram, too!
