Hot Chocolate: A Pink Off the Shoulder Sweater

Happy Monday! I’m back in the swing of things with TONS of new outfit photos. I’m so excited that I don’t even know which one to show you first! But since it was super chilly this weekend, I decided to bust out some sweater photos for ya.

This weekend was so nice and productive! Lots of blogging and relaxing. The calm before all the Thanksgiving festivities.

I wore this pink off the shoulder sweater twice this weekend. It is kind of a tunic-style, actually. I couldn’t decide if I wanted to half tuck it or not. I prefer it single shouldered rather than double, off the shouldered. That’s the beauty of style, you make it for for YOU.

I’ve had my chandelier earrings for years now (these are pretty darn similar and only $10), but they are a classic shape that never gets old. Long earrings go so well with any off the shoulder look.

For a HUGE change, I pulled back my hair! Aren’t you kind of shocked? I curled some hair towards my face instead of away in order to get this tousled, lived in pony. I know that’s kind of against what all the you-tube hair tutorials say, but trust me, it makes your curls look a lot less contrived.

Sooo I threw out all our expired hot chocolate when we moved last month, which I hugely regretted when I got a craving for hot chocolate this weekend. Does hot chocolate expire? I was afraid it would get moldy or something. Sometimes I’m weird about expiration dates.

So we ran to the store and picked out this kind. It’s SO GOOD. The plan was to sip hot chocolate by the fire pit on our rooftop, but we couldn’t get the fire pit to work. Plus it was insanely cold and windy. So we literally just ran upstairs, snapped these shots, and ran back downstairs. HA! And you better believe there is some Kahlúa in that hot chocolate.

p.s. – Like my off the shoulder sweater look? This cold shoulder sweater post was a popular look too!

Gooood, it’s important to be cold so you can feel extra toasty when you’re back home with your hot chocolate. Word to the cold shoulder post, shoulders are the ultimate things!

Whaaat my roommate and I just made that type of hot chocolate last weekend! Our power briefly went out and we made hot cocoa on our the gas stove, lit some candles and played board games by candlelight. 🙂 It was so rich and tasty.
