My “blogiversary” was on December 24th and a lot of emotions came with that. I can’t believe how quickly this year has gone and how many incredible connections I’ve made with the COOLEST PEOPLE EVER.

I don’t have much wisdom to share right now, or a list of things I wish I had known. A lot of what I learned is from trial and error, and really required a full year to experience and execute. There is no one article that helped me most or one piece of advice that I live by.
Although I am somewhat embarrassed to bring it up, here is my first post. It was short and only included one photo, because I really wanted to get myself out there and START something. I was out of excuses, and I could have put it off forever.
I posted my What a Year! recap of 2016, and shortly thereafter starting posting some outfit photos. Wow they were horrible. I started out taking a lot of my own photos with my iphone attached to a tripod, and a bluetooth shutter I clicked with my hand. Here and here are some particularly bad ones, haha. I will never delete them or be ashamed, because everyone starts somewhere. I’m thrilled to see how far I have come, and I hope that a blogger who is just starting out will go to my archives and see that I embraced the suck. I went ugly, but I went.
So this year has been about finding myself and figuring out what I truly love. One of those things is clearly styling, as I dream of putting together outfits all day.
Thank you for following me and supporting my dreams. They weren’t joking when they said that “time flies when you’re having fun.”
