If you get the weekly newsletter than you already know that Dan and I booked a last minute trip to Munich/Bavaria over Christmas! Since winter weather + flying = extremely dry skin, I’m excited to share a cute little kit I found that is perfect for winter travel.
11 amazing and unforgettable days in France. That’s potentially A LOT of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories. I find that a trip is much more enjoyable when I pack light, keep it simple, and recycle clothing in innovative ways.
Here’s all the clothing I packed for my 11 day trip to France at the end of August, in a small roller carry on bag. I also had my toiletries, makeup, camera, computer, and enough room to bring home 3 bottles of wine and some small souvenirs. Schlepping around a huge rolling bag is absolutely impossible if you’re running around a country trying to see all the sights. If you’re staying put, then fine. But we went to Nice, Ville-Franche Sur Mer, Monaco, Arles, Avignon, Honfleur, Bayeux, Mont. St. Michel, Versailles, and Paris. WHEW!
Oh Nashville. Smashville, Nashvegas – whatever you want to call it. I went with my husband for his 30th birthday along with his 3 siblings and their spouses. We did all the touristy things and MY GOODNESS we had a great time! Here are some Nashville highlights!
Summer travel is one of my favorite things to do, and I have a lot of it coming up! But a horror story plays out in my mind. I’m in Bora Bora staying in a gorgeous little floating hut. My husband throws me in the water while I’m wearing my huge $175,000 diamond earrings and one falls off and I burst into tears knowing my earrings now belong to the fishes. Just kidding – that wasn’t me, it was Kim Kardashian, but it could happen to any of us.
My point is that traveling with valuable things like my iPad, computer, and jewelry is always risky for fear of it being broken or stolen. But how can a girl like me (or KimK for that matter) travel without her beloved accessories? Just because I’m in a different state/country doesn’t mean I can’t be my stylish self. So through my travels, I’ve figured out ways to keep my jewelry safe and intact.
