Christmas in Germany is spectacular. There’s nothing like exploring a new city while taking in all the local holiday traditions. Our quick 6-day trip was full of hot mulled wine, good food, and poignant history.

Most of us travel a lot this time of year. Whether we are going home for the holidays or jet-setting on our next adventure, we want to be comfortable along the way. Dan and I are going to Munich December 23rd, so we currently have all things travel on our brains. So while I’m thinking of it, I thought I’d share my tips for being comfortable while you are traveling.
If you get the weekly newsletter than you already know that Dan and I booked a last minute trip to Munich/Bavaria over Christmas! Since winter weather + flying = extremely dry skin, I’m excited to share a cute little kit I found that is perfect for winter travel.
11 amazing and unforgettable days in France. That’s potentially A LOT of clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories. I find that a trip is much more enjoyable when I pack light, keep it simple, and recycle clothing in innovative ways.
Here’s all the clothing I packed for my 11 day trip to France at the end of August, in a small roller carry on bag. I also had my toiletries, makeup, camera, computer, and enough room to bring home 3 bottles of wine and some small souvenirs. Schlepping around a huge rolling bag is absolutely impossible if you’re running around a country trying to see all the sights. If you’re staying put, then fine. But we went to Nice, Ville-Franche Sur Mer, Monaco, Arles, Avignon, Honfleur, Bayeux, Mont. St. Michel, Versailles, and Paris. WHEW!
