There are so many skincare products on the market that it is hard to commit to something to see if it will actually work. Sometimes I feel like I am accepting someone’s skincare opinion when I have no idea if we have similar skin types.
The truth is, individual beauty routines and anti-aging products only work for specific skin types. I decided to get some answers by having my skin DNA tested.
Luckily I don’t have too many fine lines and wrinkles, but preventative maintenance is key for my almost-30 face. For just 3 minutes a day I can look like a superhero and dramatically reduce the wrinkles around my eyes and forehead with the Dr. Dennis Gross SpectraLite EyeCare Pro. What’s not to like about that!?
So everyone wants those kissable pillow lips, amirite? But lip fillers are SUPER expensive and the “Kylie Jenner Lip Challenge” is totally unsafe. I’m happy to report that there is another option out there called the PMD Kiss.
The PMD Kiss is a little device that creates small vacuum pulses on your lips to temporarily plump them up. I gave it a whirl and here are my thoughts!
Pink is my jam. Not necessarily hot pink, but the soft blush or dusty pink. You’ve seen me in pink dresses, pink shoes…and plenty of pink handbags have graced this blog. So now it’s time to feature something else awesome and pink – the Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Mask!
The sunny months are coming. The days are longer, and I long for every moment I can spend outdoors. I even try to squeeze in a couple of walks around the block during the workweek just so I can get some fresh air and enjoy the weather.
Between my day job, blogging, and just…life, there isn’t as much time for sleep as I always hope. I don’t love to load up on caffeine, because it makes me hyper and jittery. Plus, I swore off energy drinks like RedBull and 5 Hour Energy because they freak me out.
I’ve figured out some tips and tricks to looking and feeling energized, regardless of how crazy my schedule is.
Real talk. I really dislike going to the nail salon to get a pedi, and they ask you if they can razor your feet to get all the calluses off. My answer is always – hell naw. I don’t even like when they use the cheese grater thing. It makes me feel weird. I have a friend who recently had a bad experience with that, and it left her hobbling and bleeding (don’t worry, she is okay!)
So when I discovered the Emjoi Micro-Pedi, a handy (and safe) callus-removing tool, let’s just say I was overjoyed to go to town on my feet.
