Real talk. I really dislike going to the nail salon to get a pedi, and they ask you if they can razor your feet to get all the calluses off. My answer is always – hell naw. I don’t even like when they use the cheese grater thing. It makes me feel weird. I have a friend who recently had a bad experience with that, and it left her hobbling and bleeding (don’t worry, she is okay!)
So when I discovered the Emjoi Micro-Pedi, a handy (and safe) callus-removing tool, let’s just say I was overjoyed to go to town on my feet.
One of the things I always look forward to in the fall is the nail polish colors. Sometime mid September I started texting my friends like “is it too soon for dark polish!?” because I can’t wait for my dark fall hues. Don’t get me wrong, I love my summer lilacs and brights, but the earthy polish colors are my favorite.
My natural nails have always been peely, thin, and dull. It could be a result of applying manicure after manicure, washing dishes, and using my nails to peel off tape. Now that I’ve discovered Emjoi, my nails look better than they ever have.
I honestly prefer to do my own nails sometimes rather than get them done. I have a VAST nail polish collection, it is actually a little embarrassing. I can do my own nails in about 10 minutes, which saves me so much time and money. Since I get a lot of questions asking about how I do my own nails, I’m sharing my simple method.
