I took a wine tasting class in college. I know what you’re thinking, we didn’t JUST taste wine. The class was on Tuesday evenings, filled with college seniors in a huge lecture hall. We had to fight tooth and nail to get into the exclusive class. Since there were limited seats, only nerds like me (who had the privilege of scheduling classes early) and the extremely lucky students got a seat.
For the first hour and a half of each class, we sat through a lecture on the different varietals of grapes, the wine-making process, regions of the world and their different wine-making laws, basically whatever the professor wanted to talk about. And for the last hour, we got to taste wine and eat crackers all guided by our lively professor. It was awesome.
That was the first time I learned that Burgundy is not just a color.
My natural nails have always been peely, thin, and dull. It could be a result of applying manicure after manicure, washing dishes, and using my nails to peel off tape. Now that I’ve discovered Emjoi, my nails look better than they ever have.
When I think of the word scalloped, I think of seafood. That’s just the first thing that comes to my mind.
Do I look like a gondolier in this striped top and straw hat? You know, those guys in Venice who drive the gondolas and sing you romantic songs? Haha, either way I love this easy outfit and I hope you do too.
The Nordstrom Sale (#NSale) is now open to the public! HORRAAAAAY! In the past week, I’ve studied the online catalog, so now I know pretty much everything there is to offer. After doing last week’s roundup and receiving some of the products in the mail, I’ve gone back and scoured. Here is a second round of favorites from the sale!
